Sponsorships and donations are used to offset costs of selecting and fielding a team for participation in the international competition. These costs include hosting the US Team Selection Trials, providing uniform apparel to team members, coaches and managers, travel, lodging and minimal administrative expenses.

This year, the United States hosts the international competition, therefore significant additional expenses will be incurred. The hosting nation must not only supply their own teams’ travel and lodging, but provide all event logistics including entertainment and ground transportation for all international competitors. The hosting nation provides stipends, housing and ground transportation for the event officials as well. And of course, the hosting nation must also supply sufficient donated horses for all international competitors.

Sponsorships/donations may be financial or in kind. Auction items are always needed for our signature fundraiser, the Gold Medal Celebration. Team USA also requires outfitting with sports and dress apparel. Equipment is also needed. Such items may include whips, saddle bags, foot lockers, saddle pads, hanging bags, duffel bags, etc. In addition, it is general practice for team members to exchange gifts with competitors from other nations. Any appropriate additional donated items would be welcomed.

The United States Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation.
