team-based competition and promotion of the discipline by our athletes and officials.
To field teams of gifted, versatile equestrian athletes who will capably and honorably represent the United States both in competition and in competition-associated events.
To select men and women of outstanding character to represent Saddle Seat Equitation and its associated breeds to the national and international public and media.
To select officials who will carry out their duties with professionalism and integrity.
To use participation in the International Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup competition to promote our discipline and our associated breeds to new audiences here in the US and around the world.
To use participation in the event to also promote professional horsemen and instructors, breeders, judges and equine-related vendors, to a global market.
To elevate the visibility of our sport nationally and internationally by attracting
well-known, highly regarded sponsors and broad media coverage.
To foster additional opportunities for team-based competition in Saddle Seat Equitation,
while at the same time taking care not to detract from the primary competitive outlet—
the International Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup.
To gain official recognition and inclusion for Saddle Seat Equitation by
Olympic and Olympic-level international games organizations.
