International Saddle Seat Equitation Association (ISSEA)
The International Saddle Seat Equitation Association (ISSEA) was established in 1998 as the governing body for the sport of Saddle Seat Equitation. ISSEA is composed of countries that are uniting with the common goal of promoting the art of Saddle Seat Equitation on an International level.
Additional aims of ISSEA are to:
- Pursue International opportunities to help promote the Saddle Seat Equitation discipline
- Represent ISSEA at an International level
- Formulate International Rules and Regulations in order to standardize competitions
- Be responsible for the criteria and selection process of Judges; and
- Be the representative body of all Amateur riders (determined by each country’s rules) of the Saddle Seat Equitation countries.
